About Ark HQ

About · Ark HQ

Built for the way schools really run.

Ark HQ is what happened when a SafeSchool consultant got tired of writing the same policy three different ways for three different schools — and decided to build the thing once, properly.

02 · What we do

Four products. One compliance year.

Each one solves a real, named problem — none is a feature dressed up as a product. Because they were designed together, a school never has to integrate them.

SafeSchool

The compliance programme — onsite visits, risk assessments, committee meetings, on a digital backbone.

Ark Academy

The training arm — short, accountable e-learning that produces evidence an auditor will accept.

Giraft

The policy library that maintains itself — drafted, circulated, Board-approved, sealed.

The assistant that knows a Department of Education circular from a JMB template.

03 · Where we came from

From one consultant to a school services group.

SafeSchool started in 2014. By 2024 it was clear the bottleneck was not the visits — it was everything that landed on the principal’s desk after them.

  1. 2014One consultantA Tuesday-morning committee meeting in Midleton.
  2. 2019A hundred schoolsThree consultants. The model worked.
  3. 2024The bottleneck movedNot the visits — the policy work, the legislation tracking, the reporting that landed on the principal’s desk at 7pm on a Sunday.
  4. NowArk HQThe same expert hands; better tools underneath them.

04 · How we work

Deliberately small. On purpose.

The same expert hands as 2014, with better tools underneath them — and a few rules we do not bend.

Continuity

The same person, the whole way.

One consultant for the life of the engagement — they already know the building.

Plain English

Headlines a principal can act on.

No civil-service register, no jargon dressed up as rigour.

Real evidence

Reporting your auditors can rely on.

“350+ schools”, not “hundreds”. Specifics over abstractions, every time.

Deliberately small

The discipline that keeps quality high.

Staying small is the only thing that lets us keep doing this properly.
